July got away from us. After 2 1/2 weeks living in a campfire we shot off to Utah for some fresher air. We were sad to leave Michael behind, but someone had to stay and pay for the trip. The drive was easy thanks to Becca in Reno letting us stop over both ways. The kids were great travelers. We listened to books on tape. Our favorite thing to do when we travel. This trip we listened to Spiderwick and Artimus Fowl. They make the drive go soo much faster for me
We visited a lot of neat places the 1st picture is the Kennecott copper mine. We have seen the mine every time we go to Utah, but the tour was amazing. We also took several day hikes. I was hoping for more pictures, but the camera died on our trip. We did go see where they took the boulders that they used to build the Salt Lake Temple. We also hike to two different waterfalls and around a really pretty lake. It was great to be so busy. The kids loved to see their cousins. I

My mom turned 61 this month. We made sure we were home to celebrate with here.

Here is our newest pets. The rabbits have gone to fine new homes. We are trying to find time to get them a home outside. But until then, a box in the front room is where they live

Somehow can't resist posting pic of the cute almost crawling baby

What else have we been up to. Gardening and canning. It was crazy when we got home. I canned up applesauce, tomatoes and beans. I also used the nectarines and made fruit leather. If I was not tired from the trip I was definitely tired after all the washing, picking, canning and cleaning when we got home.
