Hiking
While Grandma and Grandpa were here I decided to go on a hike. One of our favorite things to do with Grandpa Law. It was a lot of fun. We went to Fairy Falls. It is in the Spenceville wildlife refuge about 45 min from our home.

Here is some of the crew getting ready. Everyone was excited to go on a hike to the falls!

It was a long hot hike. I am sure that it is beautiful in the spring, but today it was brown grass , stickers in the socks, and a little warm. Isaac was a great trooper, but he was glad to be out of the pack. I was glad to have him out of the pack too! It was about 2.5 miles into the falls.

We got to hike to this part of the falls. Not sure if we were really at the top of the falls. We were tired when we made it this far! It was pretty!

Just us relaxing before we hiked out. It was a long hike out, but the kids were great. Taylor and Grandpa took turns carrying Isaac in the backpack while he napped. I piggy backed Joshua most of the way out. It was an adventure. The description said 2.5 hours. I think it was closer to 3.5 hours. Luckily we packed lots of water and I had a cooler full of ice and water back and the van waiting for us. This is what memories are made of (for better and for worse!)
