Tonight I am finishing off the pears with pear sauce. I did this a few years ago. It is yummy.
All numbers are approximate ...
15 quarts pear sauce
30 quarts pears
12 pints salsa
12 quart spaghetti sauce
20 quarts Mexican sauce...aka stewed tomatoes
6 quarts grape juice...still have grapes to juice
22 pints grape jelly...no we won't use that many, but it was easy and Taylor liked it so much that he asked me every time I was juicing grapes to make jelly, so I did.
45 quart apricots
45 quarts peaches
15 quarts applesauce
12 quarts cherries
The best part of this whole summer is that the only thing I had to buy was seals, sugar, and few spices and the pears. The rest we grew or was given to us. I feel so blessed.
So I bet you are wondering if we will use it all in one year. The answer is no way! The nice thing is that they will last for a couple of years. One thing that I have learned about fruit trees is that if you let your tree over produce without thinning (aka bumper crop) there is a good chance that you will get a smaller crop the next year. Some of my trees did not get thinned like I have hoped, so I don't think next year will be as prolific.
Here is the web site that I use for my canning information

That is awesome! I think my Mom canned a few times a week for the whole summer...I am just getting my feet wet. I am already planning next year though.
P.S. you didn't count all your strawberry jam.
