Happy Birthday
Taylor!

Wow Taylor is 15! The time is going way too fast. We had a really busy day that day. They boys had to stay home from young men's just so we could have the family party. This is a cake that the teens in the home school group made for him. It was the best picture I could find.
This is the most exciting part......
Can you guess what this picture is?????This picture is Taylor's Eagle Project. He is putting in steps at a trail head at Zion's camp. We have been working on this project for a whole year. He was supposed to do it last year but we had a problem securing the RR ties. I am sure that is in my blog somewhere. So this weekend was the Father's and Son's camp out. It rained 2 1/2 inched during the night, but they still got up and installed them in the MUD! I am so excited for Taylor. He will have to make another trip to the camp to make sure the dirt is all level and compacted properly, but all the hard work is done...Unless you count the paperwork.
FYI Aimee's baptism date is July 4th. We are hoping to have Taylor's Eagle court of Honor the same day. If you think you might be coming, let us know and I will be sure to update you if the Court on Honor is not happening, but I an keeping my fingers crossed.
Tax season is done! We took a family trip to Shasta Caverns. It was a great trip f

or all of us.
1st we got to take a boat to the other side of the lake. Joshua informed me that he was going to paddle us across the lake, and her was a little confused that our boat did not have any paddles on it.
When we got the the other side of the lake, we took a bus to the cavern opening. My kids loved that part. I don't think my kids have ever been on a bus before.
Then we got all suited up to go in the cave. I had to carry Isaac through the cave. There were hundreds of steps. Isaac was good for most of it.

On the bus ride back to the boat, Isaac crawled in the seat behind us, Joshua crawled up next to him and Isaac fell asleep. All the adults thought it was the sweetest thing.
The strawberry guy called! He is one of my favorite people. He calls me at the end of th
e day and sells me anything that are left for half off. I was not ready this year when he called, but a quick trip to Wal-Mart and we were in business. The best things about this jam in that Michael stayed up and helped me. It was so nice. I think I have all the Jam we will need for the year. Now I am making lots of fruit leather and dehydrated strawberries. When I am in the thick of it, I think it will never end, but then when it is over...I always think "already". It is always bittersweet.
We have eaten our 1st zucchini this week! It was from the plants that were under the fabric. I love that stuff!(see last times post)

Congrats to Taylor on his Eagle project. I know it's been a long process. I'm jealous that you got your first zuchinni. I have yet to plant my garden. Hopefully in the next two weeks!
